Tom Williams - Artistic Director
The Festival's Artistic Director, Tom Williams, looks at the extraordinary life and times of the Tudor master William Byrd.
Through political upheaval and accusations of treason and heresy, Byrd rose to become one of the most successful composers of the Renaissance age and has been loved by choral enthusiasts ever since.
Tom discusses the joys and challenges of performing his music and looks ahead to this year's closing concert when The Tallis Scholars return to the festival to celebrate Byrd’s remarkable legacy.
