Bristol’s own Douglas Stevens plays Beethoven’s most famous and much loved piano work, the Moonlight Sonata, at the heart of this expressive and moving programme. 

 

Brimming with virtuosic energy the programme also includes Debussy’s preludes from Book One, Lennox Berkeley’s charming Five Short Pieces and lesser known gems by Stanford and Milhaud.
